Nathaniel Braddock's Done Gone digs deep in a repertoire of American acoustic folk music traditions. Braddock draws on his ten years as a fingerstyle guitar instructor at Chicago's Old Town School of Folk music, drawing upon the inventory of early Americana as well as music of British folk and related string music of West and Central Africa. Braddock is joined by two stalwarts of the improvised music scene: Nate McBride on upright bass, and Curt Newton on drums.

Braddock also leads Maison Électronique, Occidental Brothers Dance Band Int'l, Trio Mokili, and Accra Quartet.
